Dec 23, 2008 - The idea is to immediately lift your fret hand finger as soon as the note is picked by your picking hand so that the note doesn't ring out at all. So that each note is sounded individually and then is silenced when the next note in the sweep is sounded. Hope that makes a little sense to you and good luck.

Jan 2, 2009 - hahha ive been trying to sweep for a few months now.Got the movement right and all.But for some reason it didnt sound right, strings were still making noise.One month later i watch this video and realise what ive been doing wrong-i havent been pushing the pick into my strings at a slant :LHhaha now my sweeping sounds much better.Lmao.Good video, thanks a bunch:)
